Hello all, my 1st post!

I'm having problems connecting my sprinter to my main TV here in the UK, the screen is pure white and the writing is a slightly lighter shade, I can make out some text about the disk not being ready etc.

I've emailed the Sprinter team and they suggest I need a 12v signal to activate the socket. I've read the earlier posts where someone had something similar happen and wondered if there was anything I could try? Failing that is it possible to connect it to a SVGA monitor (I'm not very good with all this connector type stuff :) )

Shaos, you didn't try to make the new scart cable yet then?

The Sprinter video connector has a few unused pins. Perhaps the most comfortable solution is to attach 12v to one of these so that you don't have to draw wires from the inside of the sprinter for the video. This would also make modifying an existing cable a bit easier. If this is possible, can Alex or anybody else on the Sprinter team recommend a pin to be dedicated for 12v on the video connector, so that there is no future confusion?

No, I have the opposite problem, it is brilliant white with gray writing! The Petersplus logo is just about visible when I first switch it on, I get some writing the hard-disk not ready (I haven't formatted it yet!)

(On another note, I was reading comp.sys.sinclair earlier, I'm going to give SPRINT a go, it looks really nice!)
